Happy Thanksgiving (2011)

Thanksgiving remains an American tradition as well as Fred’s favorite holiday. Once a year, people from all over the country join together with family and friends to celebrate and give thanks for what was received during the year. At Dream Day Cakes®, this holiday allows our bakery to experience a few days off; enjoying time with our families as well as the opportunity to look back at the previous year.

When we started Dream Day Cakes® in 2010 we had little more than a dream and a nice 1200 square foot building in NW Gainesville. We knew we’d have long hours, we just didn’t know “how” long. 😉 In the past year, we’ve learned a lot and have gotten to help celebrate weddings, birthdays, engagements, parties, and more events than we could list. We’ve been honored to help people celebrate together, or even using us when they can’t be in town to celebrate in person.

Because of your amazing support, we have been able to expand our bakery and continue to grow. The hours are still long– but this is something that causes us to simply be incredibly grateful.

As families gather across the county, we would like to take this opportunity to give thanks– to you. Thank you for using our bakery to help celebrate your events. Thank you for letting us start your day the right way (and for trying a pandebono or two). Thank you for telling your friends about Dream Day Cakes® and most importantly, thank you for supporting us as we ventured forward with our dream.

The bottom line? Thank you. We look forward to another amazing year.
